Business Stages (and tasks you can start with!)

Business Stages (and tasks you can start with!)

Working with your Doer starts by having a clear plan for your business, breaking it down into milestones and tasks, and understanding what tasks you can outsource to achieve your end goal. It also starts with WHY. If you communicate to your Doer WHY they are doing a certain task and how it fits into the bigger picture, they will feel much more empowered.

In order to create a plan, you should have an understanding of where your business is at right now. We categorize businesses into three stages; Start-Up, Growing, and Scaling Stages.

Start-Up Stage - At this stage, you should know your Genius Zone and the product/service you want to sell. You should be creating an irresistible first offer to put your business out there and get to know your market so you know what channels to utilize to promote your product/service. It is best to utilize free online tools during this stage.

The tasks that our Founders usually outsource at this stage are:

  • Build First Complete Funnel
  • Email Marketing Automation
  • Social Media Set-up & Design
  • Online Calendar Set-up
  • Create First Lead Magnet
  • Connecting/Integrating Tools

Growing Stage - At this stage, you should already have a solid list of leads that you want to nurture and sell your product/service to. This is when you add one to two more products to value, build your first online funnel, create a 30-day email nurture, and handover more low-value tasks to your Doer.

The tasks that our Founders usually outsource at this stage are:

  • Website Build/ Re-design
  • Online Portal Build
  • Social Media Scheduling
  • Manage Facebook Groups
  • Manage Inboxes
  • Editing Videos and Designing Worksheets for New Programs

Scaling Stage - At this stage, you should already have sold your products/services and  have repeat customers. This is when you add more leads by strengthening your social media presence, upsell by adding more products/services, and grow your team.

The tasks that our Founders usually outsource at this stage are:

  • Build Additional Funnels
  • Advanced Email Automations & Broadcasts
  • Set-up and Support Webinars
  • Tech Support
  • Onboard New Doer

Remember, you invest the most time into getting your first Doer up to speed... then they can train the next Doer and teach them the business specific tasks they’ve learned.
