Giving Feedback to My Doer
Every opportunity for feedback is a training opportunity and our rule here at Outsourced Doers is that a task is not complete until you give feedback ( *Please note…”Thank you” is not feedback)
Here are some examples of our suggested methods of giving feedback to your Doer to ensure you receive the outcome you are after time and time again.
Examples of Feedback
Job Well Done
- Hey Jonel, Thanks so much for this lead magnet
- (Tell them why you like it so they remember for next time)
- It’s exactly what I was thinking and I like how you made your own icons and branded them on our colours - it’s perfect.
Needs Some Tweaks
- Hi Jonel, Thanks for this Lead Magnet. Just a few change requests below:
- Insert Change Requests
- (Ask for clarification) Does this make sense? Would it be possible to make these changes by 5pm today (Insert deadline)
- Thanks Jonel
Completely Missed the Mark
- Firstly ask yourself, “How was my briefing” as you mightn’t have provided enough details or examples in your Brief
- Hi Jonel, Unfortunately this Lead Magnet isn’t what I was wanting. Here are the things I don’t think work.
- Insert all the things you don’t like about it.
- Here are the things I definitely want
- Insert things you want with examples
- (Ask for clarification) Does this make sense? Would it be possible to make these changes by 5pm today? (Insert deadline).
- Thanks Jonel.
** When you need to provide your Doer with detailed changes or feedback, record a Loom screen sharing video that records your feedback showing the project (Lead Magnet, Website etc) on the screen and walk them through all the changes that they need to make. This prevents details being missed and enables your Doer to watch the video as often as needed to correctly complete all the changes you’ve outlined.
If the Doer continues to make the same mistakes despite detailed Briefs and examples, please send an email to our Client Experience Team via founders@outsourceddoers.com so that your Client Experience specialist will be able to help you out.
