How will I communicate and work with my Doer?

How will I communicate and work with my Doer?

There are two methods of communicating with your Doer that we recommend:

  • Zoom - for calling and video conferencing with your Doer (eg morning huddles)
  • Live Chat - via Campfire in Basecamp

You can reach out to your Doer anytime by sending them a message via the Live Chat function called Campfire, which you can find on the Home screen in Basecamp.

Basecamp is a project management and team communication platform and the most effective way we’ve found to keep you, your Doer, and their Doer Success Lead in the loop and on the same page.

Campfire is the best place to cover queries quickly, post links and images and chat in real-time with your Doer. This is a much more efficient way of communicating with your Doer instead of emailing each other.

This allows all your communication to be in one centralized place.

If you want to call them, we recommend Zoom.

When it comes to delegating tasks, we first recommend submitting a task brief using the Briefing Toolkit in the Outsourced Doers Portal. Then, you upload these briefs to Basecamp as tasks in the appropriate To-Do list.

As your Doer completes each task, they tick them off and Basecamp notifies you.

TIP - Download the Basecamp App onto your phone (available on iOS & Android) so you can easily communicate with your Doer if you’re on the go and away from your computer

Here's a video that will walk you through Basecamp and explain how you can utilize it with your Doer.

If you prefer to use an alternative messaging and project management platform, you are more than welcome to do so, this however does limit our Quality Assurance & Doer Success leads from diving in and helping out if something goes amiss.
