We recognize and honor all Philippine Holidays.
There are two types of holidays in the Philippines: Regular holidays and Special non-working holidays.
Regular holidays are celebrated on established dates (i.e., Christmas Day, Philippine Independence Day, and New Year's Day). On these days, employees are granted a break and are entitled to receive their compensation for the day. However, they will earn an additional 100% of their regular day rate (double-pay) if required to work.
Special non-working holidays - are celebrated on flexible dates either declared by the President or enacted by Congress. Employees are granted a break, but they are NOT entitled to receive their compensation. However, they earn an additional 30% of their regular day rate when required to work.
