Recording Loom videos (screen recording videos)

Recording Loom videos (screen recording videos)

Every Founder has their own unique processes and the way they like to complete certain tasks in their business - that we obviously can’t train on - as every business is so different. So we’ve found a really great way to help cover these gaps in advance.

Recording  Loom videos (or screen recording videos) of your current processes, SOP, or any business-specific tasks you are planning to delegate to your Doer is a great way to give them a first-hand experience of these things right from you. This will also enable your Doer to become quickly familiar with your business processes - and speed up getting tasks off your plate ASAP.

Just go to  Loom and download either the free Chrome Extension or the free desktop app.

Going forward, our advice would be that the next time you complete a daily or weekly task yourself over the next few weeks, just hit “Record” on Loom so it records your screen. Then just talk through each step as you’re completing the task.

When your Doers start with you, they can watch the Loom videos you’ve recorded, master that task (plus they’ve learned your preferred way of completing that task) and you never have to do that task ever again.
